The Diverter valve is found primarily inside combination boilers and ensures that heated water is diverted to the radiators or, alternatively, towards the hot water taps. When the PCB detects a demand for heat, it relays a signal to the three way valve which, in turn, redirects the heated water to the required part of the system.
