This part is located within the gas valve section of the appliance. The gas valve regulates the flow of gas inside the boiler. It acts in the same way as a tap but is controlled by the PCB. When there is no need for gas the gas valve closes, stopping the flow of gas. If gas is required a signal from the PCB notifies the gas valve to release the gas.
