Baxi 235785 Electrode

In most boilers, there are two types of Electrodes : 1) The Spark Electrode and 2) the Flame Sensing Electrode. A Spark Electrode utilises an electronically generated spark to ignite the fuel inside the burner and begin the combustion process. A Flame Sensing Electrode, on the other hand, checks that a flame is present within the combustion chamber. This feature is critical as it stop gas from being supplied if the flame has been extinguished.
