Remeha S62743 Electrode Kit

There are 2 main types of electrodes that are found in most boilers: The Flame Sensing Electrode and the Spark Electrode. A Spark Electrode uses a spark to ignite the gases within the combustion chamber. The flame is then monitored by the Flame Sensing Electrode which makes sure that the flame started by the spark electrode is still present inside the burner. This important safety feature stop gas from being supplied if the flame has been extinguished.
