Glowworm SK7343 Electrode

There are 2 main types of electrodes that are found in most boilers: 1) The Spark Electrode and 2) the Flame Sensing Electrode. A Spark Electrode produces an electronically generated spark to ignite the fuel inside the burner and begin the combustion process. The flame is then monitored by the Flame Sensing Electrode which makes sure that a flame is present within the combustion chamber. This feature is critical as it prevents gas from flooding the burner if the flame goes out.
