Worcester 8-716-140-516-0 Air Vent

The Automatic Air Vent removes air bubbles that are present within a central heating system, making sure that the system doesn't display behaviours such as strange noises and increased corrosion. Unlike most components within a boiler, the AAV does not need to receive signals from the PCB to activate. There is a float built in to the AAV which matches the water level within the system and provides an ideal way to release air whilst preventing the escape of water. If the level of the water is high, the air discharge hole is blocked by the float, when the level of the water is low, the holes are no longer blocked and the air can escape.
