This Heat Exchanger ensures that heat is transferred between the burner and water within the system. Depending on the type of appliance in question, there are two different types of heat exchanger: The domestic heat exchanger and the main heat exchanger. Almost all boilers have a primary heat exchanger which allows generated heat to be passed in to the water system. Alternatively, the plate heat exchanger can only be found in combination boilers and enacts heat transference across two closed water systems.
