The Automatic Air Vent allows the release of air pockets which can build up inside a closed water system, making sure that the system doesn't display behaviours such as strange noises and increased corrosion. The Automatic Air Vent does not need to receive instructions from the PCB. There is a float built in to the AAV which matches the water level within the system and provides an ideal way to release air whilst preventing the escape of water. When the water level is high, the air discharge hole is blocked by the float, if the water level is low, the holes are no longer blocked and the air can escape.
