The AAV allows the release of air pockets from inside a closed water system, making sure that the system does not become airlocked. The Automatic Air Vent does not need to receive instructions from the PCB. A float within the AAV matches the water level within the system and provides an ideal way to release air whilst preventing the escape of water. If the level of the water is high, the air discharge hole is blocked by the float, when the level of the water is low, the holes are no longer blocked and the air can escape.
