Glowworm SFF2143 Electrode

There are 2 main types of electrodes that are found in most boilers: 1) The Spark Electrode and 2) the Flame Sensing Electrode. When there is a need to activate the boiler, the PCB relays commands to the Spark Electrode which then produces a spark to ignite the fuel inside the burner and begin the combustion process. The Flame Sensing Electrode makes sure that a flame is present inside the burner. This feature is critical as it prevents gas from flooding the burner if the flame goes out.
