Glowworm S801898 Auto Air Vent

The Automatic Air Vent removes air pockets from inside a central heating system, ensuring that this system doesn't display behaviours such as strange noises and increased corrosion. Unlike most components within a boiler, the AAV does not need to receive signals from the PCB to activate. There is a float built in to the AAV which matches the water level within the system and provides an ideal way to release air whilst preventing the escape of water. If the level of the water is high, the float will block the air discharge hole, if the water level is low, air can escape as the discharge hole is no longer blocked.
