The Automatic Air Vent allows the release of air bubbles which can build up inside a closed water system, ensuring that this system doesn't display behaviours such as strange noises and increased corrosion. The Automatic Air Vent does not need to receive instructions from the PCB. There is a float built in to the AAV which monitors the system water level and provides an ideal way to release air whilst preventing the escape of water. When the water level is high, the float will block the air discharge hole, if the water level is low, the holes are no longer blocked and the air can escape.
