The Diverter valve (or 3 way valve) is found in combination boilers and ensures that heated water is diverted to the radiators or, alternatively, towards the hot water taps. When the Printed Circuit Board senses a demand for heat, it transmits orders to the Diverter Valve which then redirects the heated water to the required part of the system.
