The Diverter valve (or 3 way valve) can be found within combi boilers and ensures that heated water is diverted to the central heating system or, alternatively, towards the hot water taps. When the Printed Circuit Board senses a need for heat, it sends a message to the Diverter Valve which then redirects the heated water to the required area.
