The Automatic Air Vent removes air pockets that are present within a closed water system, making sure that the system does not become airlocked. The Automatic Air Vent does not need to receive instructions from the PCB. There is a float built in to the AAV which matches the water level within the system and provides an ideal way to release air whilst preventing the escape of water. When the water level is high, the float will block the air discharge hole, when the level of the water is low, the holes are no longer blocked and the air can escape.
