Vokera 8478 Spark Electrode

In most boilers, there are two types of Electrodes : The Flame Sensing Electrode and the Spark Electrode. A Spark Electrode produces a spark to ignite the fuel inside the burner and begin the combustion process. The Flame Sensing Electrode ensures that the flame started by the spark electrode is still present within the combustion chamber. This important safety feature stop gas from being supplied if the flame goes out.
