The Diverter valve can be found primarily inside combination boilers and allows hot water to be diverted to the radiators or the hot water taps. When the Printed Circuit Board becomes aware of a demand for hot water, it relays a signal to the three way valve which, in turn, diverts the hot water to the required area.
