The Diverter valve (or 3 way valve) is located primarily inside combination boilers and allows hot water to be diverted to the central heating system or the hot water taps. When the PCB detects a demand for heat, it transmits orders to the Diverter Valve which, in turn, diverts the hot water to the required area.
