The Three way valve can be found primarily inside combination boilers and ensures that heated water is diverted to the central heating system or, alternatively, towards the hot water taps. When the Printed Circuit Board becomes aware of a need for heat, it relays a signal to the three way valve which, in turn, redirects the heated water to the required area.
